　最初にBO-PEEPを知ったのは、確かちょうど２年ほど前。初めて聴いた『Is it good for you?!!』は、そのパンク＆ラウドなスタイルが非常に新鮮だった。新鮮というのは、いわゆるジャパニーズ・ガールズ・バンドの枠から完全にはみ出した、圧倒的に規格外のバンドだったからだ。いわゆるキュートさとは無縁の（失礼）エッジの効いた３ピース。ささくれだったギター・ノイズに、どっしりしたリズムが鳴る。乱暴だが、こう、鳴らさなくてはどうしようもない衝動が、確かにそこにはあったのだ。

Levelload with Duran Duran

Levelload played a storming set at the Aoyama, Tokyo club Le Baron de Paris on 15 April. On the decks was none other than Roger Taylor of Duran Duran, and his bandmate Simon Le Bon got stuck right in to Levelload’s set, dancing the whole way through. Among the compliments Simon heaped on the band after the show was, “Simple, straight, direct - stick it right up there!” We’re not 100% certain what that means, but we’re all very pleased.

4月15日、 Le Baron de ParisでLevelloadがライブを行った。ライブ会場には、Duran DuranのRoger Taylorや、Levelloadのライブを楽しむ、彼のバンドメイトSimon Le Bonの姿もあり、ライブは大盛況で幕を閉じた。感謝すべきは、SimonがLevelloadについて、「シンプル、ストレート、ダイレクト、- stick it right upthere!”」と、彼なりの幾何学な言葉で絶賛している。
